Jul 3, 2012 · This book is the second in this mini-series or arch of the over-arching Drizzt novels. I'm re-reading the series from where I left off and this book and the one before it are new material for me. I like getting to see a change in the status quo. In the last book, we get to see Gauntlgrym, which has been talked about for ever.
Then I'd say come on back to Drizzt and go on ahead. One thing I did as well, Guantulgrym despite being book 1 of a series is actually a really good spot to stop and take a break. Without giving any spoilers, a lot of old threads/plots over the years are wrapped up and new ones started, pretty much to go with the move to 4e.
